HHC 2020 Conference Canceled Due to COVID-19

After an exhaustive process of due diligence conversations and staff preparation efforts regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel the Homes for Horses Coalition 2020 Conference.
As a registered attendee, we are aware of how disappointing this news may be. The Homes for Horses Coalition is an organization that values people and animals. When considering the factors before us, the well-being of the people and rescues needed to be paramount in our decision-making.
So, it is with deep regret that we must make this unfortunate announcement. We invite you to read on and learn more about next steps below:
For individual/group registrants
We will be issuing a full refund equal to the amount you paid during the registration process. If you paid by credit card, your registration fees will be refunded to the credit card used during registration within 7 business days. Please note that if you registered a group, each group member’s fees will be refunded to your card in individual transactions. If you paid by check, we will need to process your refunds manually. We’ll be in touch with anyone who paid by check shortly with further details. If you have additional questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
Please remember to cancel your travel reservations as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary fees. We ask for you to please be patient with our team as we work to refund everyone, it may take several days.
- Carry over the sponsorship fees for the 2020 conference to next year’s Homes for Horses’ Coalition conference (2021). The price of this year’s sponsorship packages will cover the equivalent sponsorship level at our next conference, even if the price of the conference increases.
- Request a refund. Previous deadlines and fees for the cancellation of sponsorship packages have been removed.
- Donate all or a portion of the amount paid for your 2020 sponsorship packages to HHC. We will arrange for you to get the receipt necessary for tax purposes. We understand that some sponsors attend the conference with funds that only apply to this conference or come from restricted funding, so this option may not be feasible.

The Homes for Horses Coalition is committed to supporting the education and learning of equine rescue staff and volunteers. While we are saddened to cancel the Homes for Horses Coalition Conference 2020, we are exploring opportunities to bring some of the same great content to you virtually.
